one of my absolute favorite places to get lost among the books for hours. I’ve visited many times and always come away with treasures.

Got to pop in to this rambling book-warren perched alongside a river; chairs positioned strategically throughout, often near open windows and the sound of moving water. Found many treasures and brought home a biography of Ruth Krauss and Crockett Johnson, letters from Sylvia Townsend Warner, the Norton Book of Travel, a Kenneth Grahaeme book I had never seen before, and a book on Donald Crowhurst, fraudulent sailor. Thanks @Grier for the rec!

A magical little bookshop on top of a mill over a waterfall. This is a treasure! I recall a particulalry good curry chicken sandwich from the cafe
